Role Description The Derivatives Trader will work full time on-site in Gorakhpur, focusing on trading activities across futures and options, with exposure to commodity and currency markets where relevant. This role involves developing, testing, and executing derivatives trading strategies, monitoring positions, and managing risk in line with internal guidelines. The trader will analyze market data, news, and macroeconomic factors to identify trading opportunities, and document trade rationales and outcomes for ongoing learning and performance review. Daily tasks include maintaining trading logs,



collaborating with the analytics and education teams to share insights, and adhering to all internal compliance, risk, and ethical standards. Qualifications
• Solid practical skills in Trading and Futures Trading for derivatives markets.
• Ability to design and apply Trading Strategies with a focus on risk-adjusted returns.
• Experience with Hedging techniques to manage portfolio and position risk.
• Knowledge of Commodity Markets and their relationship to other asset classes.
• Solid quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and trading platforms.
• Comfort working with real-time market data, order execution tools, and basic technical and fundamental analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, disciplined decision-making, and the ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with education and research teams.
• Prior experience in derivatives trading or a related analytical role is an advantage.
