Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Mission

We're building and operating a production-grade gateway that brokers access to
multiple generative AI providers (Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, and more) deployed in
AWS. This is a real
infrastructure role with real impact: you'll manage the backbone that powers AI access
across our organization, serving as the single source of truth for model availability,
access control and cost governance.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day:
- Operate AWS infrastructure as code (Terraform) across multiple stacks—ECS Fargate,
RDS, Elasti Cache, ALB, Cognito/Entra ID
- Deploy changes through CI/CD pipelines; troubleshoot failed deployments and
rollback safely
- Debug authentication flows, VPC routing, and API brokering when things break (and
they will)
- Respond to incidents: on-call for auth outages and degradations

Strategic:




- Analyze postmortems and turn incidents into process improvements by updating
runbooks and improving observability
- Curate the approved model list
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to keep the system
secure and compliant

Real challenges you'll tackle:
- Terraform drift detection and prevention (it's trickier than it sounds)
- Managing role-based access in a system with global and team-level permissions
- Balancing data residency and processing constraints with multi-region model
availability
- Building operational excellence in a critical workplace

Requirements / Profile

Strong hands-on AWS experience (ECS, RDS, ALB, Secrets Manager, IAM)
- Strong knowledge of python and bash scripting for ops automation (some knowledge of
Java Script is a plus)
- Knowledge of Entra ID for SSO federation and group sync
- Comfort with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code workflows
- Experience debugging networking, authentication, or containerized applications
- SQL knowledge (at least basic querying and troubleshooting)
- Git/Git Hub workflow familiarity
- A bias toward documentation and runbooks

Nice to have:
- LiteLLM proxy experience (or willingness to learn)
- Cognito, Entra ID, or OAuth integration experience
- X-Ray or Cloud Watch observability deep dives
- On-call or incident-response experience
