About the Role

As a Manager in Canada Corporate Taxation, you will lead the delivery of Canadian tax compliance engagements across T1, T2, T3, and T5013 filings. You will review work prepared by Associates and Senior Associates, manage client relationships, and make sure every deliverable meets the firm's standards for technical excellence, quality, and risk management. You will also coach and develop team members and manage your portfolio proactively.

What You'll Do

- Lead tax compliance projects with technical excellence and a practical, business-minded approach.
- Review simple, medium, and complex T1, T2, T3, and T5013 computations and returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the compliance cycle, including information requests, client follow-ups, and filing.
- Review and approve client correspondence, and draft sensitive communications.
- Act as a day-to-day client contact, manage expectations,



and resolve escalations.
- Coach and mentor Associates and Senior Associates, and allocate work across the team.
- Manage your portfolio, including workload, deadlines, and budgets, with flexibility in working arrangements.
- Follow firm policies and risk management and compliance procedures.

Key Skills

- 5-10+ years of Canadian corporate tax compliance experience, in public accounting or a similar setting.
- Robust technical knowledge of Canadian tax for corporations, individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
- Experience in reviewing tax compliance work and leading teams.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with tax compliance software.
- A questioning mindset, sound judgment, and a sense of ownership.
- A collaborative approach that builds positive team spirit.
