Main Duties

Reporting to the Head of Talent Development, the Trainer / Talent Development Specialist will strengthen learning culture and enable performance across StudyIn by translating processes, product and service knowledge, and customer-facing requirements into practical learning experiences. The role will focus on facilitating training, supporting capability development, keeping learning content aligned with current ways of working, and evaluate and improve learning effectiveness using learner and performance data. The successful candidate will bring first-hand understanding of StudyIn’s business and the ability to make learning relevant, accurate, and applicable to day-to-day work.

Core Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement engaging, and impact-driven learning programs across formats, geographies and teams, to address evolving business priorities.
- Convert business processes, systems, policies, and service expectations into clear learning material, guides, and job aids; keep these accurate and up to date.
- Use practical activities, case studies, questioning, and knowledge checks to help learners understand and apply what they learn.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless learning delivery and alignment, and manage external vendors for content, delivery, and platform support.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, observations, and relevant performance data, and use the findings to improve future delivery.
- Coordinate training logistics, communications, attendance, records, and follow-up.
- Maintain learning content on Disprz and other relevant platforms.




- Reinforce learning through follow-up support or coaching, where appropriate, and share insights that can improve capability across StudyIn teams and and customer outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the Talent Development function as well as StudyIn.

Requirements

- At least one year with StudyIn and three years of experience in counselling roles.
- Strong knowledge of counselling processes, systems, and student journey.
- Demonstrable interest in training and knowledge sharing, or prior exposure to facilitation, or team knowledge-sharing, is desirable.
- Ability to explain processes accurately and break them into clear, practical steps.
- Positive planning and coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Basic proficiency in presentation and digital learning tools; experience with an LMS or content-authoring tools is an advantage.

- A Train-the-Trainer, facilitation, or other relevant learning certification is desirable, but not essential.
