Engineering Consultancy | Growth & Market Expansion

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate current business opportunities across engineering consultancy, MEP, Fire & Life Safety, Acoustics, Vertical Transportation and related services.
- Develop relationships with developers, lead consultants, contractors, industrial clients and strategic partners to secure new projects.
- Identify and explore potential markets, particularly across Africa, Europe, India and the Middle East, to support XELUXE's international expansion.
- Develop and execute business development strategies, including client acquisition/ framework, market entry and revenue growth.
- Identify suitable engineering consultancy partners, particularly in MEP and multidisciplinary services, to support XELUXE's expanding technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with technical and proposal teams to convert opportunities into successful project awards.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and upcoming developments,



providing actionable recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred but not mandatory. An MBA or relevant business qualification is an advantage.
- Ideally 4–5 years of business development experience, preferably in engineering consultancy, MEP, construction or related technical services.
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation, client acquisition, project conversion and business expansion.
- Experience in identifying international business opportunities and developing professional networks, particularly in Africa, Europe or the Middle East, would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, commercially focused and capable of independently developing new business opportunities.
