Role Description The Business Development Intern will support growth initiatives by identifying potential partners, generating qualified leads, and assisting in outreach campaigns. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, analyzing target segments, maintaining prospect databases, and supporting communication with prospective clients and institutional partners. The intern will collaborate with the business development team to prepare presentations, draft emails,



and assist in follow-ups that nurture relationships and drive engagement with Weskill’s training programs.

This is a remote internship role, offering flexibility and exposure to business development practices in an edtech environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience or interest in Market Research.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and a customer-focused mindset for Customer Service activities.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills and an ability to support outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Comfort working with online tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, communication platforms) and learning current software quickly.
- Interest in business development, sales, or marketing within the education or training sector.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate program in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
