Position: Branch Relationship Officer (BRO)

Department: Retail Branch Banking

Location: Branch Network

Grade: Officer / Assistant Manager (as applicable)

Role Purpose To drive customer acquisition, deepen existing customer relationships, and achieve business targets across liabilities, assets, and third-party products while delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Acquire new customers for Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, and other retail banking products.
Cross-sell banking products including Fixed Deposits, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, and other retail products.
Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers to enhance engagement and retention.
Generate referrals and business leads through branch walk-ins, customer interactions, and local market activities.
Support branch sales initiatives and ensure achievement of assigned business targets.
Handle customer queries, service requests, and complaints in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to KYC, compliance, regulatory, and operational guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and update customer information in banking systems.




Coordinate with branch operations and product teams to provide seamless customer service.
Participate in branch marketing campaigns, customer meets, and lead-generation activities.

Educational Qualification

1 to 5 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Sales, or Relationship Management.
