Role & responsibilities (THIRD PARTY CONTRACT BASIS)
Supervise refractory installation, relining, and repair activities in Torpedo Ladle Cars (TLCs).
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, BOM, installation procedures, and quality standards.
Monitor brick laying, joint thickness, alignment, castable installation, gunning, and shotcreting activities, as applicable.
Manage site manpower, contractors, materials, tools, and installation equipment.
Ensure compliance with customer EHS standards, permit-to-work systems, and protected working practices.
Monitor refractory consumption, lining condition, wear patterns, and campaign life.
Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, inspection checklists, and installation documentation.




Coordinate with customer operations, maintenance, and the Application Manager for timely execution.
Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and refractory performance improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Ceramic, Refractory, Metallurgical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred 25 years of experience in refractory installation or maintenance in the iron and steel industry.
Knowledge of refractory lining drawings, BOM, installation methods, quality control, and site safety.
