Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SPM Design Engineer with 3 years of experience in designing and developing Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, 2D and 3D modelling, machine components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings. The ideal candidate should be proficient in design software and have a valuable understanding of machine design principles and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) based on project requirements.
Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo.
Design machine components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Understand and work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with production, fabrication, and assembly teams for design implementation.




Modify and improve existing machine designs as per customer requirements.
Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and project specifications.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience in SPM / Special Purpose Machine Design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD
Valuable knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
Knowledge of machine elements, mechanisms, and mechanical assemblies.
Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to prepare BOM and detailed engineering drawings.

Desired Candidate Profile
3 years of experience in Mechanical Design / SPM Design.
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates from SPM manufacturing, industrial automation, and machine-building industries are preferred.
Positive problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
