Key Responsibilities
Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures and ensure all equipment is functional.
Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide reassurance before and after the procedure.
Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities immediately.
Maintain sterile techniques and comply with infection control guidelines.
Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and accessories.
Assist in inventory management and ensure adequate stock of consumables.
Document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records.
Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
Respond promptly during emergency cardiac procedures and Code Blue situations.
