Job Summary

The Body Shop Advisor is responsible for managing accident repair cases, handling insurance claims, and ensuring high-quality restoration of BMW motorcycles . The role acts as a bridge between customers, insurance companies, and workshop technicians to deliver a premium service experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Interaction

- Receive customers with accidental/damaged motorcycles
- Inspect vehicle and explain repair scope
- Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines

- Damage Assessment

- Assess external and structural damage (fairings, panels, tank, chassis)
- Decide repair vs replacement as per BMW standards
- Prepare detailed job cards

- Insurance Claim Handling

- Coordinate with insurance companies/surveyors
- Prepare and submit claim documents
- Get approvals and ensure timely claim settlement

- Workshop Coordination

- Assign repair work to technicians
- Monitor repair progress and quality
- Ensure adherence to BMW service standards

- Spare Parts & Costing

- Identify and order required spare parts




- Estimate labour and parts cost
- Control turnaround time (TAT)

- Customer Updates & Delivery

- Provide regular status updates to customers
- Handle queries and complaints professionally
- Ensure smooth vehicle delivery after repair

Required Skills :

- Knowledge of automobile/motorcycle body repair :

- Experience in insurance claim processing :

- Strong customer handling & communication skills :

- Basic understanding of premium motorcycles :

- Problem-solving and coordination ability

Qualifications :

- Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering (preferred)

- 1-4 years experience in:

- Body shop / workshop

- Insurance claims

- Service advisor role

Salary (Delhi NCR - Typical Range)

- ₹2.5 LPA - ₹5 LPA
