Workday Compensation Analyst (Advanced Compensation)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Workday Compensation Analyst to support and optimize global compensation processes within Workday. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation who enjoys configuring compensation cycles, analyzing data, and working closely with HR, Rewards, Payroll, and Finance stakeholders.
You will play a key role in ensuring compensation review processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently across a global organization.
What You'll Do

- Configure and launch annual compensation review cycles, including merit, bonus, equity, and one-time payment programs
- Prepare and validate employee, salary, job, performance, and organizational data ahead of compensation reviews
- Manage compensation budgets, merit matrices, guidelines, and eligibility rules within Workday
- Monitor review progress and ensure adherence to compensation policies and budgets
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR, Finance, and leadership decision-making
- Troubleshoot system and process issues related to compensation
- Provide ongoing support to managers, HR Business Partners, and compensation teams




- Partner with key stakeholders to improve compensation processes and user experience

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation
- Solid experience supporting merit, bonus, equity/stock, and one-time payment compensation cycles
- Experience configuring compensation plans, eligibility rules, budgets, guidelines, and compensation matrices
- Strong knowledge of compensation business processes and governance
- Experience with Workday security, testing, data validation, and issue resolution
- Advanced Workday Reporting skills, including Calculated Fields and Dashboards
- Ability to work effectively with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills

- Experience supporting global compensation programs
- Experience in large, complex organizations with international employee populations
