Work base: Khopoli or Mumbai, with the final base specified in the advertisement.

Purpose

Develop equipment parts and assemblies in SolidWorks and issue drawings that production can use. Candidates from anywhere in India may apply if they are willing to settle in Khopoli or Mumbai.

Requirements

1. Solid independent SolidWorks modelling and design ability, demonstrated live on a Metplast computer.

2. Practical understanding of sheet metal, fabricated parts, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and revision control.

3. Willingness to settle at the agreed Khopoli or Mumbai work base and coordinate with the factory.

Responsibilities

1. Create and revise 3D parts, sheet metal models and assemblies. Check fit, fastener access, interference and assembly sequence.

2.



Prepare manufacturing drawings with dimensions, functional tolerances, materials, finish notes and flat patterns where needed.

3. Maintain BOMs and controlled drawing revisions. Identify affected mating parts, purchased items, stock and work in progress when a design changes.

4. Work with production, quality, purchase and installation teams to resolve fit and manufacturing issues.

5. Clarify missing loads, interfaces, material data and site conditions before a production release.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
