About TorqWars

TorqWars is building India's competitive RC racing. We are a sports-entertainment business running on three engines: experience-led arenas with timed racing, a league, and a D2C store for RC cars and parts. Our first arena opens soon in Bandra, Mumbai, and we are backed by The Foundery. You will be part of the founding team that runs our events and our first arena.

Role overview

You will handle logistics and on-ground execution for our racing events, tournaments and brand activations at malls, colleges and corporate offices, and support arena operations. You will work with the Head of Arena Operations and the Head of Community & Events.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and execute event logistics: equipment, transport, set-up and dismantling.
- Set up the race track, timing system and charging stations, and check batteries before each event.
- Brief event crew and marshals, and manage rosters.
- Book and coordinate vendors: sound, lights, staging, printing and transport.
- Maintain equipment inventory, checklists and incident records.
- Coordinate with venues on permissions and paperwork.
- Support the arena fit-out by tracking deliveries and vendors.

KPIs

Events delivered on time and on budget, set-up time, equipment readiness and safety record.

Requirements

- 1+ years in events, brand activations, venue operations or production. College fest operations experience counts.
- Hands-on set-up and dismantling experience, not just coordination.




- Available on evenings, weekends and event days.
- Organised and calm under pressure.

Good to have

Core team experience at college fests such as Techfest or Mood Indigo. Interest in RC cars or similar hobbies. Basic electronics. A two-wheeler or driving licence.

A quick AI voice interview with your camera on (about 20 minutes): an event you set up with your own hands, how you managed vendors and crew, a TorqWars pop-up race scenario, and what your last manager would say about you. No RC knowledge is needed; we train you. We speak to references before any offer.

Your first 90 days

An event kit, checklists and a vendor list that make every set-up repeatable; set-up time falling event after event; and your first events delivered on time, on budget and safely.

Hiring process

A short AI interview, a call with the hiring manager, a 1-hour assignment for shortlisted candidates, a trial day at one of our events with reference checks, and an offer within 1 week.
