Softscholars Technologies is recruiting on behalf of our client concern, R.K. Creators, Gandhipuram, Coimbatore, for the position of Software Tester / QA Tester.

We are looking for detail-oriented and technically interested candidates who can test web applications, identify bugs, verify application functionality, and ensure software quality across frontend and backend modules.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Candidates should have basic knowledge or practical exposure to the following:

- Software Testing Fundamentals
- Manual Testing
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- UI and Compatibility Testing
- Web Application Testing
- Bug Identification and Reporting
- Test Case and Test Scenario Preparation
- Basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of React.js applications
- API Testing using Postman or similar tools
- Basic SQL / MySQL database queries
- Browser Developer Tools

Additional Advantage:

- Knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium, Playwright or Cypress)
- Basic understanding of Git and version control
- Knowledge of Agile / SDLC / STLC
- Experience testing React.js-based web applications

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform functional and manual testing of web applications.




- Test frontend interfaces developed using React.js.
- Verify application workflows, user interactions, forms, validations and navigation.
- Identify, document and report software bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and application updates.
- Test backend functionality, API responses and database operations.
- Verify data consistency between frontend, backend and database.
- Conduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing.
- Coordinate with developers to understand issues and verify bug fixes.
- Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
- Ensure application functionality and quality before deployment.
- Participate in testing existing applications as well as newly developed features.
