Key Responsibilities

- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings, technical schematics, and production layouts. [1, 2]
- Metal Shaping & Fabrication: Cut, saw, file, drill, grind, tap, and shape metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery (lathes, drills, and grinders). [1, 2, 3]
- Assembly & Installation: Fit and assemble mechanical parts, structural components, or piping systems using screws, rivets, pins, or welding equipment. [1, 2]
- Precision Measurement: Measure and inspect components using precision instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check tolerances. [1, 2, 3]
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspect worn-out parts, and repair or replace malfunctioning machinery. [1, 2]
- Safety Compliance: Follow strict workplace safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean workspace. [1, 2, 3]
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: 10th-grade pass followed by a 2-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the ITI Fitter CTS Vocational Course. [1, 2, 3]
