Design Engineer (Fixture and Acceptance Fixture Design)

Shakti Precision & Components Pvt. Ltd, a machinery and automobile component manufacturer, is hiring a Design Engineer for hydraulic and mechanical fixture design for VMC and SPM machines.
What you’ll do
- Discuss processes with the process design team, and build 3D fixture concepts in Inventor as per the process design
- Prepare proposal drawings in 3D and 2D, with 3D modelling and detailing in SolidWorks
- Prepare DAP (Design Approval Process) layouts, part drawings and assembly drawings
- Release drawings in Wrench or a PLM system (Teamcenter)
- Carry out physical fixture validation
- Work from the 3D model and 2D drawing of the component
What we’re looking for
- BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in hydraulic and mechanical fixture design for VMC and SPM machines
- Software: Autodesk Inventor (2019 and 2022), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Wrench and Teamcenter, and SAP
- Positive knowledge of 3D and 2D drawing preparation and design approval processes
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday in rotating shifts (6 AM-2 PM, 2 PM-10 PM and 10 AM-6 PM)
