Job Description

Mariner Engineering Pvt Ltd is recruiting skilled and experienced Marine Masons for its shipbuilding, ship repair, accommodation outfitting and offshore engineering projects across India.

Selected candidates will be responsible for the preparation, application, levelling and finishing of marine deck flooring systems, cementitious underlayments, screeds, tiles and associated masonry works.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out marine deck surface preparation, cleaning, grinding and levelling prior to flooring installation.
- Prepare, mix, apply and finish cementitious screeds, marine underlayments and approved deck levelling compounds.
- Install ceramic tiles, anti-skid tiles and other specified flooring finishes.
- Carry out floor slope formation, finishing and associated detailing around drains, corners and penetrations.
- Repair and rectify uneven surfaces, cracks and minor defects before flooring application.
- Ensure correct material mixing, application thickness, curing and finishing practices.
- Work according to approved drawings, project specifications and quality requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with site safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

- Relevant hands-on experience in masonry,



flooring, screeding, tiling or cementitious applications.
- Previous marine, shipyard, ship repair or offshore flooring experience preferred.
- Familiarity with marine deck screeds and accommodation flooring systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to use standard masonry tools and flooring equipment.
- Understanding of surface levelling, material mixing and finishing requirements.
- Willingness to work at different project locations across India.
- Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) mandatory for eligible candidates.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

Salary & Benefits

- Starting salary of ₹20,000 per month upwards, negotiable based on experience and skill.
- 8 hours standard working time per day.
- Minimum 2 additional hours of overtime per working day, depending on project requirements.
- Overtime compensation as per applicable statutory requirements.
