Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production In-Charge to manage and supervise daily manufacturing activities at our cooling tower manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality control, material coordination, meeting production targets, and ensuring timely delivery of cooling towers and related components.

Candidates with experience in cooling tower manufacturing, industrial fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, structural fabrication, and heat exchanger or coil manufacturing will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities according to the production schedule.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

- Allocate manpower, machines, tools, and materials to achieve daily and monthly production targets.

- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.

- Coordinate with the design, purchase, stores, quality, and dispatch departments.

- Ensure proper material utilization and minimize material wastage, rework, and production delays.

- Maintain production reports, daily output records, manpower attendance, and job progress reports.

- Ensure product quality, dimensional accuracy, welding quality,



and proper assembly as per approved drawings.

- Implement workplace safety procedures, 5S practices, and housekeeping standards.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

- Ensure proper preventive maintenance and productive utilization of production equipment.

- Monitor the availability of raw materials, fabricated components, and bought-out items required for production.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

- 3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial production.

- Experience in production planning, shop-floor supervision, manpower handling, and fabrication.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings.

- Good knowledge of welding, sheet metal fabrication, structural fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, inventory coordination, and dispatch schedules.

- Good communication, leadership, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

- Knowledge of Excel, production reports, and ERP systems will be an advantage.
