Job Summary

Keynode Developers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Draftsman cum Estimator who can prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD and independently handle quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation based on architectural and structural drawings.

The candidate must have practical knowledge of both 2D drafting and construction estimation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Take accurate quantities from drawings for civil and construction works.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and other construction activities.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and detailed cost estimates.
- Estimate material quantities, labour requirements, and project costs.
- Verify measurements and identify discrepancies in drawings and quantities.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams.




- Revise drawings and estimates based on project requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, quantities, and estimates.

Required Skills

- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to independently prepare and modify 2D drawings.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Practical knowledge of quantity take-off from construction drawings.
- Ability to prepare BOQ and cost estimates.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and measurements.
- Basic to good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and time management.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
- Candidates with relevant practical knowledge in 2D drafting and estimation may also apply.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates who can independently manage both 2D drafting and estimation.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of residential and commercial building projects.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
