Position: Safety Officer
Experience: 2–4 Years

Industry: Chemical / Manufacturing Industry (Preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain workplace safety policies, procedures and practices in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor factory operations and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Organise safety awareness programmes and provide training to employees on workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor safe and unsafe work practices and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials and industrial waste.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, inspection checklists and other statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies during safety and environmental audits.
- Ensure compliance with TNPCB regulations and applicable environmental and safety standards.
- Investigate workplace accidents and near-miss incidents and implement appropriate preventive measures.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- M.E. in Industrial Safety Engineering or RLI certification (Preferred).
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Safety / EHS operations.
- Experience in the Chemical or Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of TNPCB compliance and statutory safety regulations.
- Experience in hazardous waste management and handling.
- Knowledge of environmental, health and safety practices.
- Good understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification and mitigation measures.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
