We are looking for experienced Fettling Engineers to join our Steel Casting Foundry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise daily fettling and finishing operations.
- Handle swing grinding, wheel grinding and surface finishing activities.
- Coordinate welding, arc gouging and weld repair operations.
- Monitor MPI, DP and shot blasting activities.
- Ensure castings meet customer requirements and surface quality standards.
- Identify casting defects such as cracks, sand inclusions, blowholes, shrinkage and other surface defects.
- Carry out in-process inspections as per the weekly production plan and ensure timely quality clearance of castings for dispatch.
- Ensure proper handling and segregation of accepted, rework and rejected castings.
- Monitor manpower productivity and achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure workplace housekeeping and safety compliance.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED





- Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel valve castings.
- Knowledge of casting defects and their identification.
- Welding electrode selection and welding processes.
- Knowledge of arc gouging and weld repair.
- Shot blasting, MPI, DP and acid pickling processes.
- Ability to read casting drawings and understand dimensional requirements.

QUALIFICATION

- B.Sc. / ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Candidates with relevant practical steel foundry experience will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

- 3–6 years of relevant experience preferred.

Experience in steel valve casting foundries will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
