Job Description – Assistant Project Manager (Interior - Residential Sites)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Assistant Project Manager to coordinate and manage residential interior projects. The candidate will support project execution, site supervision, team coordination, quality control, and timely project delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing residential interior projects.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, installation teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review site measurements, BOQs, material requirements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate material dispatch, delivery, and installation activities.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress.
- Identify site-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with clients and provide regular project updates.
- Work closely with internal teams for drawings, procurement, logistics, and project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, workmanship, and overall execution quality.
- Support project handover and ensure customer satisfaction.





Requirements,

- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience: 1–4 years in interior project execution or residential construction.
- Basic knowledge of modular interiors, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.,
- Ability to read and understand interior drawings and BOQs.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities effectively.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel to different project sites across Chennai.
