About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Head to lead sales and business growth for a gym business operating in the sports and fitness sector.

The role involves driving membership revenue, managing the sales team, improving enquiry conversions and delivering a premium customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience selling premium services and leading a team to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Drive current memberships, renewals and upgrades across gym locations.
- Set branch-wise and individual sales targets in consultation with management.
- Review sales performance and take corrective action where targets are falling behind.
- Recommend membership packages and promotional offers while maintaining profitability and brand positioning.

Sales Team Management

- Lead, guide and monitor the sales team across locations.
- Allocate targets and track enquiries, follow-ups, appointments, gym visits and membership conversions.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and provide practical coaching.
- Train the team in premium service selling, objection handling, negotiation and closing.
- Support recruitment, induction and performance evaluation of sales employees.
- Personally assist with important prospects and difficult sales closures.

Premium Customer Experience

- Ensure prospective members receive professional communication, personalised attention and timely follow-ups.
- Understand customer needs and help the team recommend suitable memberships and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with members to support renewals and referrals.
- Coordinate with gym operations and trainers to ensure a smooth transition from sale to membership activation.
- Address escalated customer concerns and avoid commitments that the business cannot deliver.





Business Development & Marketing Coordination

- Build corporate tie-ups and referral partnerships to generate membership enquiries.
- Work with the marketing team on campaigns, events and local promotional activities.
- Review lead quality and campaign conversions to improve sales results.
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing and customer preferences.
- Support membership sales planning for new gym openings.

Reporting & Process Management

- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM records and revenue forecasts.
- Share regular reports on sales, conversions, renewals and team performance.
- Monitor membership payments and coordinate outstanding payment follow-ups.
- Ensure the team follows approved pricing, discounts and sales processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; qualifications in hospitality, business management or marketing are preferred.
- Proven experience in premium service sales, with experience managing a sales team.
- Background in premium gyms, fitness clubs, luxury hospitality, hotel membership sales or similar customer-focused businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and improve team performance.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with premium customers and corporate decision-makers.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, Excel and sales reporting.
- Willingness to visit gym locations and attend business meetings as required.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
