About the Job

We are hiring an Accountant for our petrol pump in Wadakkanchery Town , Thrissur .You will manage daily sales accounting, cash and digital payment reconciliation, GST filing, and monthly reporting. Experience in a petrol pump or retail business is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Prepare daily sales reports from nozzle readings (Petrol, Diesel,)
- Reconcile fuel sales with dip readings and stock registers
- Match shift-wise cash collection with sales, and reconcile UPI, card, and fleet card payments with bank statements
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally (cash book, bank book, ledgers, trial balance)
- Track purchases and payments to the oil company (IOCL )
- Maintain credit customer ledgers, raise bills, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle TDS/TCS




- Process monthly payroll and assist with PF/ESI compliance
- Coordinate with the CA for audits and annual filings
- Submit daily and monthly MIS reports to the owner

Requirements

- B.Com /BBA/ M.Com or equivalent
- 2–3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP , Zoho Books and MS Excel
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS
- Honesty and solid attention to detail
- Malayalam and English ( required), Hindi(preferred)

Schedule

- 9am to 6pm Day shift, 6 days a week
- Occasional extra hours at month-end and filing deadlines

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
