Senior Consultant – MuleSoft Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-led connectivity, system integration, API development, and enterprise integration patterns. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Implement API-led connectivity using System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
- Develop RESTful and SOAP-based web services and integrate enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems.
- Build Mule applications using Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule 4.
- Configure API policies, security mechanisms, authentication, and authorization using Anypoint API Manager.
- Implement integrations using connectors such as HTTP, Database, Salesforce, SAP, and other enterprise systems as required.
- Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave and handle different data formats, including JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Implement error handling, exception management, logging, retry mechanisms, and performance optimization.
- Deploy and manage applications across CloudHub, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments, as applicable.
- Manage API lifecycle activities, including API design, development, testing, publishing, versioning,



and deprecation.
- Write unit and integration tests using MUnit and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and other development teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, effort estimation, and solution documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to integration architecture, automation, and delivery processes.

Required Technical Skills

- - Robust hands-on experience in MuleSoft ESB and Anypoint Platform.
- Expertise in Mule Runtime, API Manager, Design Center, and Mule Connectors.
- Good experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, RAML, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong knowledge of DataWeave, MEL, transformations, routing, and exception handling.
- Experience in API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns.
- Understanding of cloud and on-premises deployment models.
- Knowledge of SOA and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database integration and message models.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in agile and fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience in MuleSoft integration development and support.
- MuleSoft certifications will be an added advantage.
