Job Description:
An English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language, grammar, reading, writing, speaking and literature to students as per the CBSE curriculum and helping them develop effective communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver English lessons according to the CBSE syllabus.
- Teach English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and literature.
- Develop students' speaking, listening and communication skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and teaching materials.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments and examinations.
- Evaluate students' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Improve students' reading habits, handwriting and writing skills.




- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Identify students' learning difficulties and provide additional support.
- Maintain academic records and communicate students' progress to parents.
- Participate in school activities, meetings and training programmes.
