Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Study Abroad Consultant role based in Chennai. The Study Abroad Consultant will provide one-on-one counseling to students and families, helping them choose appropriate countries, universities, and programs aligned with their academic background, career objectives, and financial considerations. Daily responsibilities include explaining admission requirements, assisting with documentation, guiding students through application and scholarship processes, and coordinating test preparation recommendations. The role also involves organizing information sessions, maintaining accurate student records, following up on leads, and collaborating with internal teams and partner institutions. The consultant will be expected to stay updated on international education trends, visa regulations, and university deadlines, while delivering professional, unbiased guidance.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advising abilities, with a focus on student-centric guidance and informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



including confident spoken and written English and the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as managing documentation, tracking application timelines, and maintaining accurate records.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa processes, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with common office software and online tools used for research, communication, and application management.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, education consulting, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office workplace in Chennai, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
