Job Opening: Technical Lead - Enterprise Product Engineering

Role Overview: As a Technical Lead - Enterprise Product Engineering, you will provide hands-on technical leadership for the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise software products. You will lead engineers through architecture and design decisions, implementation, testing, and release to ensure high-quality delivery, while remaining close enough to the technology to solve complex problems and raise engineering standards. You will also play an active role in hiring, mentoring, performance feedback, and team development while working closely with the R&D; Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a product engineering team, providing technical direction and promoting high standards of quality, ownership, and accountability.

- Own technical design and delivery of new features, product enhancements, and modernization initiatives across existing product lines.

- Guide the complete SSDLC, including solution design, estimation, implementation, testing, release readiness, and production support.

- Maintain and enhance existing enterprise applications while improving architecture, scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.

- Work closely with Product Management, QA/SDET, architecture, support,



and other stakeholders to translate business and customer needs into practical, high-quality technical solutions.

- Perform architecture and code reviews and contribute hands-on to critical components or complex technical problems when needed.

- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive root-cause resolution and preventive improvements.

- Identify technical and delivery risks early and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

- Continuously improve development practices, automated testing, CI/CD code quality, and engineering processes.

- Mentor team members, provide regular feedback, identify skill gaps, and support individual development and career growth.

- Participate actively in hiring, technical interviews, team composition, and recommendations related to performance and advancement.

- Ensure engineering work aligns with organizational policies, application security standards, and applicable compliance requirements.

- Evaluate relevant technologies and architectural approaches that can improve current products or support new product initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with the R&D; Manager on planning, priorities, resource needs, delivery commitments, and people decisions.

- Take ownership of additional technical leadership responsibilities as required by the role or organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise or cloud-based software products.

- Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role with responsibility for mentoring developers and leading delivery.

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and related enterprise Java technologies.

- Strong experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React, along with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Experience with automated testing, code quality practices, CI/CD, source control, and modern DevOps practices.

- Experience designing or evolving secure, scalable, highly available enterprise applications.

- Exposure to cloud platforms and application modernization approaches is preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

- Ability to make sound technical decisions, challenge the status quo, and balance modernization with product delivery needs.

- Highly organized, accountable, collaborative, and results-driven.
