Role: Senior IT Application Consultant SAP PLM/DMS

Your Responsibilities

- Provide technical consultancy and solution design in the areas of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Document Management System (DMS), and Engineering Collaboration solutions.
- Configure, customize, and support SAP PLM/DMS solutions and related add-ons, including content repositories, and engineering collaboration platforms.
- Design and optimize document management processes, workflows, approval procedures, digital signature integration, search functionality, and document classification concepts.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to file conversion, document rendering, and integration solutions (e.g., SEAL Systems, CIDEON Conversion Engine).
- Monitor and support critical system interfaces and background processing, including update tasks, integration monitoring, IDoc processing, and document distribution processes.
- Implement application enhancements and project work packages, including technical specifications, solution design, testing, and documentation.
- Provide 3rd-level support and continuous improvement for SAP PLM, SAP DMS, Material Master integrations, engineering collaboration platforms, and related document management solutions.
- Contribute to the transformation and evolution of engineering collaboration solutions, including the migration from SAP cFolders to a future collaboration solution.

Your Profile

- 5+ years of professional experience as an Application Consultant or Technical Consultant in then areas of Document Management,



Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Engineering Collaboration solutions.
- Strong expertise in SAP Document Management System (DMS), including document lifecycle management, approval workflows, version control, office integration, and content repository architectures.
- Solid understanding of SAP Product Lifecycle Management processes, including Engineering Change Management (ECM), Engineering Change Numbers (ECN), Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Master, Classification, and Document Structures.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience with ProNovia / ProPLM Client configuration, customization, and troubleshooting (e.g., content repositories, document workflows, PDF generation, and document distribution) is considered an advantage.
- Experience with SAP Integrated Product Development (IPD) Collaboration is considered an advantage.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues, including ABAP debugging, dumps, interfaces, background jobs, and custom developments.
- Experience with IT service management processes, incident management, change management, and application lifecycle support; SAP Solution Manager experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in an international setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global and multicultural organization.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
