Job Description

Grade Manager / Sr Manager

Location Mumbai (US-hours overlap)

Reports to Lead – Special Projects Category

Team Works with category and production executives

Function US Supply Chain – Category: Special Projects

Role purpose: Source and deliver bespoke, high-end products for assigned US luxury residential and special

projects, on spec, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing

- Turn design specs and drawings into BOQs and RFQs; get quotes from premium vendors.
- Compare bids, negotiate and raise POs within budget.
- Onboard new vendors for premium materials and finishes.

Samples and approvals

- Manage samples, mock-ups and shop drawing approvals with Design.

Execution

- Track production, inspections, packaging and dispatch; flag delays early.
- Coordinate site delivery with Logistics and Projects; close snags and replacements.

Reporting

- Keep project trackers, cost vs budget and vendor scorecards current.

Qualifications and Experience

- B.E./B.Tech (Civil or Mechanical preferred), or B.Arch/Interior Design.
- MBA preferred.
- 4–7 years in sourcing or category roles for interiors, luxury residential, hospitality or premium furniture.
- Able to read drawings and material specs.

Skills

- Knowledge of premium materials and finishes.
- Negotiation, cost comparison and advanced Excel.
- Robust coordination and follow-up; willing to work US hours.

Key Interfaces

- Internal: Lead – Special Projects, Design, US Projects, Estimation, QC, Logistics.
- External: Premium vendors, artisans, QC agencies.
