RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform daily health checks of robot cells: controller status, alarms, safety interlocks, air/water supply, cooling, and E-stop functionality.
- Monitor production during shift and ensure robot cells run as per plan; update downtime log and escalate abnormalities quickly.
- Support basic troubleshooting: identify fault codes, check sensors, connectors, cables, I/O status; coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
- Maintain weld torch/dress pack condition (as applicable): nozzle/tip replacement, wire feed checks, torch alignment and cleaning schedule.
- Ensure calibration/teaching support under guidance: TCP checks, fixture datum verification, part presence sensors and poka-yoke checks.
- Support preventive maintenance activities:



backup programs, check battery status, lubrication points, axis inspection as per PM plan.
- Ensure spares availability coordination: tips/nozzles, liners, sensors, cables, fuses, relays; update consumption and reorder needs.
- Support quality improvement: verify bead profile/penetration settings as per WPS, assist trial runs and change validation under supervision.
- Maintain documentation: daily checklist, downtime reason code, PM records, program backup register, and change request log.
