Job Description : IP Migration

Job Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)

Role Description:

Tenarai has an exciting opportunity to join our network infrastructure teams as an IP Migration Engineer working on

Backbone Network capacity deployment. This role will be focused on network deployment (IP, optical), and network

operations (decommissioning, retrofitting, capacity upgrades, migrations, etc.)

We are looking for individuals with experience in routing/switching, deployment, and some optical experience is a plus.

This is a fast-paced setting, and we are looking for someone who is organized, can multi-task and enjoys working in a

team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop C update documentation, work cross functionally to develop and enhance network design C production workflows.

• Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network and tooling issues.

• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.

• Experience in Chassis installation, line cards installs PCRs and structure fiber installation

• Experience in device installation and testing, software/firmware upgrade, re-bootstrapping and decommission.

• Deploy and support our global production, including edge, backbone, campus, and content delivery network (CDN) infrastructure

• Experience in network optimization (re-stripes, migrations, upgrades, swaps, capacity upgrades).

• Creating Bill of Materials and JSNs, (Job Start Notification) for deployments and upgrades.





• Excellent experience in maintaining documentation and teamwork.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

• IP networking experience with deploying, migrating, and supporting service providers, data center, and/or enterprise network infrastructure

• CCNP/JNCIS/JNCIP or equivalent knowledge.

• Strong understanding and preferably hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP,OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, and SDN

• Experience with Linux OS/networking

• Knowledge of data center design and operational best practices

• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation,quality and accuracy reviews)

• Experience with field-based work in collocation facilities, internet exchanges, and central offices

• Multivendor testing and support experience.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and

• creative problem-solving abilities under pressure.

• Solid understanding and configuration experience of Channel builds and cross-connect builds.

• Solid understanding of fiber-optic technology including cable types, connector types, optic types, patch panels, and optical transport technologies.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
