Industry: FMCG / Liquor & Alcoholic Beverages Distribution
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and manage our field sales operations in Satara District. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG or liquor distribution, proven team management capabilities, excellent market development skills and a track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate the field sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Monitor daily sales performance, market coverage and target achievement.
- Analyse sales data, prepare MIS reports and identify business growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key customers.
- Monitor stock movement, product availability and outstanding payments.
- Ensure effective market servicing and timely resolution of customer concerns.
- Conduct regular field visits,
review team performance and provide on-ground guidance.
- Track competitor activities, market trends and business opportunities.
- Ensure disciplined sales operations and consistent team performance under pressure.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG sales or liquor/alcoholic beverages distribution.
- Proven experience in managing field sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Robust knowledge of wholesale distribution and retail market operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, sales analysis and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable business results.
- Must be comfortable with extensive fieldwork and local market travel.
- Candidates residing in Satara District or nearby areas will be preferred.
