We are seeking an experienced finance professional to build comprehensive, from-scratch LBO and transaction models for U.S. Private Equity clients. This role is for a true model-builder who understands the transaction mechanics behind every assumption, debt tranche, and return metricnot someone who simply rolls forward existing templates.

What You’ll Do

- Build from Scratch: Construct energetic, fully integrated 3-statement and LBO models from a blank sheet for U.S. PE buyouts, acquisitions, and recapitalizations.
- Model Capital Structures: Build complex debt schedules covering revolvers, term loans, subordinated debt, cash sweeps, interest calculations, and equity cascades.
- Drive Investment Analysis: Analyze transaction assumptions, leverage capacity (Debt/EBITDA, fixed charge coverage), and investment returns (IRR, MOIC, equity waterfalls).
- Build Operating Schedules: Translate raw, unstructured company data into detailed revenue, working capital, capex, and cash flow schedules.
- Audit & Advise: Review and optimize existing transaction models,



identifying weak assumptions, structural inconsistencies, and deal risks.

What We’re Looking For We are looking for professionals who can confidently say: "I built this model myself. I understand every debt schedule, every formula, and the economic logic driving the returns."

- Experience: 4 to 8+ years in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or direct LBO Modeling roles.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience building LBO models from scratch for live transactions or direct PE client engagements.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel skills with a deep understanding of U.S. financial statements, corporate finance, and capital structures.
- Independence: Ability to synthesize incomplete financial data into structured, decision-ready models with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English for direct collaboration with U.S. deal teams and stakeholders.
