Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead agile software development and data science team within organization. The role combines people management, delivery ownership, and technical leadership in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of software engineers, data scientists, and ML experts, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Own end-to-end delivery planning, execution, risk management, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product and Architecture to refine requirements and prioritize the backlog.
- Maintain a high technical bar through design reviews, code-review participation, and best-practice advocacy (CI/CD, testing, observability, security).
- Remove blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process and quality improvement across the team.

Requirements

- 10+ years of engineering management experience with direct people management.




- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering, ideally in backend or full-stack development.
- Proven track record of shipping production software at scale in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with machine learning in production specifically audio and text processing models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with globally distributed, multi-timezone teams.
- Fluent and transparent English written and verbal.

Advantage

- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or LLM-powered product development.
- Background in Contact Center, UCaaS, CPaaS, or real-time communications platforms.
- Familiarity with Python, Angular, and Node.js.
