We are looking for a data-driven and analytical Supply Chain Planner to join our team at HAVMOR Ice Cream (LOTTE India).

As Assistant Supply Chain Planning, you will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, replenishment planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;). The role involves working closely with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Distribution teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and improve supply chain efficiency across our nationwide cold-chain network.

The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG, preferably in Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, Dairy, or other perishable product categories, with a strong understanding of demand planning and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Forecasting & Planning

- Develop SKU-wise demand forecasts considering historical sales, seasonality, market trends, promotional activities, and business inputs.
- Prepare and manage rolling demand plans (M0M2) to support production and procurement planning.
- Analyze demand fluctuations and seasonal trends, particularly during peak and lean ice cream seasons.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence and promotional plans into forecasts.

2. Inventory & Replenishment Planning

- Define and monitor inventory norms across factories, CFAs, and distribution points.
- Drive stock replenishment planning from factories to CFAs based on demand, inventory levels, and service requirements.
- Optimize inventory holding while ensuring product availability across the distribution network.
- Monitor stock availability, ageing, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.

3. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;)





- Support monthly Pre-S&OP; and S&OP; processes through data analysis and demand-supply alignment.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to align demand and supply plans.
- Develop planning dashboards, reports, and MIS for management reviews.
- Conduct scenario analysis to support business planning and decision-making.

4. Inventory Analytics & Risk Management

- Identify excess, slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry inventory across CFAs and product categories.
- Drive inventory redistribution and corrective actions to minimize wastage and stock losses.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and other supply chain KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and overall supply chain efficiency.

Candidate Profile Education & Experience

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, or S&OP; within FMCG.
- Experience in Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, Dairy, Beverages, or Perishable FMCG categories will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, and supply chain operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Advanced MS Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of FMCG distribution networks and cold-chain operations.
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate insights into business actions.
