We are hiring a workshop fitter who can read a fabrication drawing and independently carry out marking and fit-up. Our work includes MS and SS storage tanks, chimneys, ducting and structural frames.
Work you will handle
- Read fabrication drawings and mark plates, openings and structural members for cutting.
- Fit rolled tank shells, align shell joints and check roundness.
- Mark and fit nozzles and manholes to the elevation and orientation shown on the drawing.
- Assemble frames and check dimensions, diagonals and alignment before handing over for welding.
Location — Units 220 & 221, SIDCO Women’s Industrial Estate, Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai
