Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Kolkata.

The Technical Sales

Engineer will engage with industrial customers to understand their automation and electrical requirements, prepare tailored proposals, and support solution design aligned with Sinwave’s PLC, SCADA, panel manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 offerings. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demos, responding to technical inquiries, coordinating with the engineering team to ensure accurate quotations, and following up on leads to drive sales closures.



The role involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, assisting with site visits, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and timely issue resolution.

The Technical Sales

Engineer will also contribute to market research, documentation, and reporting to support business development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills to translate industrial automation and electrical solutions into transparent value propositions.
- Experience in Sales and account management, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing opportunities in B2B environments.
- Ability to provide effective Technical Support, including troubleshooting, application guidance, and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Excellent Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Background in industrial automation, electrical engineering, or related fields; familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, and control panels is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline preferred.
- Comfort working on-site in industrial environments, with a proactive, customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to use basic CRM tools, MS Office applications, and prepare technical-commercial offers and reports.
