Role Description This is a full-time, in office Electrical Design Engineer role based in Kolkata, focused on AutoCAD Electrical and offer making.

The Electrical Design

Engineer will create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical in line with project specifications and industry standards. The role involves designing power distribution systems, selecting components and equipment, and coordinating with procurement and production teams to ensure accurate implementation. The engineer will prepare technical proposals, costing estimates,



and offers for customers, collaborating with sales and project teams to clarify requirements and optimize solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing client drawings, performing technical calculations, supporting commissioning teams with design-related queries, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and templates.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and associated safety standards.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for industrial panels and automation systems.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution design, load calculations, and protection coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent electrical CAD tools for schematics and layouts.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Experience in preparing technical offers, BOQs, and cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality and safety.
- Prior exposure to industrial automation, control panels, or similar environments is an advantage.
