Position Title: Monitoring & Observability Engineer

Technology Stack: Dynatrace, Zabbix, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Elastic/Kibana, Bash, PowerShell, REST APIs, ServiceNOW, Kafka, Azure Monitoring Tools, Confluence, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins

Expected experience IN Technology Stack: Min. 5 years (including min. 3 years of working for international companies (EU/US))

Required skills & Tools

- Strong knowledge of ITIL Monitoring & Event Management, Incident, Problem
- Strong ownership and proactive approach to operational responsibilities and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take responsibility for assigned tasks
- Continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing practical improvements and solutions
- Experience in alert correlation, threshold tuning, escalation handling
- Expert in Dynatrace configuration (building dashboards, OneAgent, DQL, integrations, extensions management & development)
- Proficient in Zabbix (templates, LLD, SNMP, proxies, DB tuning)
- REST API usage for integration and automation
- Development of synthetic tests and monitoring extensions/plugins
- Bash or PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of monitoring system dependencies (App Host DB Network)
- Experience in development and maintenance of monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, Loki/Syslog/Logstash, Grafana, Prometheus)




- Incident handling and P1/P2 reaction experience

Nice-to-have skills & TOOLS

- Azure-native monitoring
- Integration with ServiceNOW/SMS/email/Teams
- Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ knowledge
- Dynatrace/Zabbix/ITIL certifications
- Monitoring-as-Code (Monaco) / Observability principles
- Experience with Elastic/Kibana
- Experience with Confluence, Jira and GitHub usage
- Knowledge of Agile methodology

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring and event management of IT infrastructure and applications
- Configure and maintain alert rules and dashboards
- Correlate events and suppress noise
- Develop automation for alert response and escalation
- Build and optimize Dynatrace/Zabbix/Loki integrations
- Monitor and provide the analysis (RCA) of the application-related, business, compliance and security events, suggest for improvements
- Collaborate with DevOps/Sec/Infra teams on observability design
- Document monitoring standards, playbooks, and procedures
- Provide training and lead service coverage reviews

Certifications: Dynatrace Professional, Zabbix Certified Specialist/Skilled, ITIL Foundation, Azure Fundamentals

Availability for shift/on-call/24x7 duty as needed

Availability for incident escalation or support during deployments
