Role Description This is a remote internship role for Video Editing Interns at Laneway. Interns will assist in editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and client-facing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.

Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, performing basic cuts and transitions, adding music and sound effects, and preparing content for various digital platforms. Interns may support color grading, motion graphics integration,



and thumbnail or simple graphic creation to enhance visual storytelling. Collaboration with the media and marketing team, following creative briefs, and meeting deadlines are key aspects of this internship, with opportunities to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Production to handle end-to-end content creation workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to improve visual consistency and enhance overall video quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and support branding.
- Basic knowledge of industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Solid attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow storyboards or creative briefs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in media, marketing, and digital storytelling; prior portfolio or sample work is highly preferred.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in film, media, communications, design, or a related field is an advantage.
