? Hiring | Vice President / Head – Enterprise Security Monitoring & SIEM Engineering (Splunk | Google SecOps) | Pune | US Shift

Have you built and led a global SIEM and security monitoring platform, and the engineers behind it?

We’re hiring on behalf of a leading global financial services organization for a senior technology leader to own the strategy, architecture and delivery of its enterprise detection and monitoring capabilities.

This is a platform and engineering leadership role, not a SOC analyst or alert-triage role.

What you’ll own

→ Strategy, roadmap and architecture for SIEM, monitoring and security data platforms (Splunk, Google SecOps)

→ People leadership: build, mentor and grow a team of senior engineers, including hiring, performance and succession

→ Embedding cyber threat detection and prevention into core platforms and business systems, working with IT and business leaders

→ Evaluating and deploying current security technologies ahead of emerging threats

→ Team budget, financial planning and strategic recommendations to senior management

→ Design standards for a fast-moving environment spanning public cloud and modern data centers

What you bring (must-have)

✅ 15+ years in security engineering, infrastructure or monitoring, including senior people-management experience

✅ Deep, hands-on SIEM experience: Splunk and/or Google SecOps (or Sentinel, QRadar, Chronicle)

✅ Strong automation and scripting: Python, PowerShell or Shell

✅ Solid Windows/Linux/Unix and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SNMP, syslog)





✅ Executive-level communication, able to present to senior stakeholders and lead complex, time-sensitive programs

Strong plus

➕ Monitoring platforms (Datadog, SCOM)

➕ DLP, DNS/DHCP, load balancing and internet-facing security architecture

Work model

? US (EST) shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST (flexible). Occasional weekend or weeknight work for production changes.

? Pune | [On-site / hybrid: confirm]
