Job Purpose To manage and oversee end-to-end export trailer operations, with a primary focus on reefer and dry trailer transportation. The role involves demand and capacity planning, transporter management, trailer deployment, vessel coordination, detention control, and operational performance monitoring to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of export cargo.

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand &
- Supply Planning

- Analyze the demand and supply of reefer trailers for export movements.

- Ensure adequate availability of reefer and dry trailers based on export requirements and shipping schedules.

- Forecast trailer requirements in coordination with export and logistics teams.

1. Transporter Management &
- Development

- Identify, evaluate, and develop current reefer trailer transporters to strengthen the transportation network.

- Negotiate and finalize transportation contracts, commercial terms, and service-level agreements with transporters.

- Maintain effective relationships with existing transporters to ensure consistent service availability and operational efficiency.

1. Export Movement Planning &
- Execution

- Plan and coordinate export trailer movements in line with shipping requirements and vessel schedules.





- Arrange reefer and dry trailers from the market as per operational requirements.

- Ensure timely placement of trailers at designated locations to meet cargo loading and vessel cut-off timelines.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, transporters, shipping lines, and other relevant parties for smooth execution of export movements.

1. Trailer Operations &
- Performance Management

- Monitor trailer placement, utilization, and turnaround time (TAT).

- Manage and control trailer detention to minimize operational delays and additional costs.

- Ensure efficient deployment and optimum utilization of reefer and dry trailers.

- Proactively resolve operational challenges affecting trailer availability and movement.

1. MIS &
- Reporting

- Prepare and maintain regular Trailer Operations MIS reports.

- Track key operational parameters such as trailer availability, placement, utilization, turnaround time, detention, and movement status.

- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

- Provide periodic performance updates and operational reports to management.
