Position: Sr. Accounts & Finance

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Steel / Engineering

Job Purpose To independently manage the Accounts & Finance operations of the Tarapur Factory, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, financial reporting, cost control, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities of the factory.
- Handle general accounting, AP/AR, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, cash-flow statements, and variance analysis.
- Monitor factory expenses, budgets, and cost-control measures.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage vendor/customer reconciliations and outstanding follow-ups.
- Monitor inventory, stores, fixed assets, and factory-related accounting.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, HR, and Head Office for finance-related activities.




- Coordinate with internal/statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
- Identify financial discrepancies and take appropriate corrective action.
- Provide timely financial information and analysis to senior management.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Accounting & Finance and manufacturing/factory accounting.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, MIS, budgeting, and audit.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and accountability.

Qualification & Experience
- CA
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in a manufacturing/steel/engineering industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in independently handling factory finance operations will be preferred.
