Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Lead the development and enhancement of microservices-based applications, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and maintainability.
- Build and support event-driven architectures using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Deploy, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes (K8s).
- Drive technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve application efficiency and scalability.
- Champion engineering best practices across development, testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.




- Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code versioning systems, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and scalability principles.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and guide development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of security best practices for distributed systems and APIs.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
