QA Lead - Retail Banking & Payments

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across banking and digital payment platforms. The role involves leading QA initiatives, managing testing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to define test strategies, oversee defect management, and ensure successful release execution.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in banking and fintech ecosystems, a quality-first mindset, and experience in test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing activities across multiple projects and releases.
- Define test strategies, plans, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage QA team deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams for requirement analysis and test planning.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and quality governance.




- Track and report quality metrics, testing progress, and release readiness.
- Support and drive automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with significant experience in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience in the Banking/FinTech domain, preferably in:
- Retail Banking
- UPI
- BBPS
- FASTag
- Digital Payments Ecosystem

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:

- Selenium
- Appium
- Playwright

- Robust understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and release management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.
