The Akshaya Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Mathematics Teacher to teach mathematics to students at the primary school level. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts easy and interesting for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to primary-level students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare daily lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and interactive teaching methods.
- Develop students' problem-solving, logical thinking, and numerical skills.
- Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and assignments to monitor student progress.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional academic support where required.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
- Maintain students' academic records and communicate progress to parents when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and school activities.
- Follow the academic guidelines and policies of the institution.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Relevant teacher eligibility qualifications, as applicable to the institution's requirements.
