- JOB OVERVIEW The Student Advisor / Student Counsellor is responsible for counselling and guiding prospective and enrolled students, presenting Eduwing’s courses and training programmes, promoting the company’s educational services,

and supporting student enrolment and fee collection. The role also involves maintaining student documentation and records, coordinating with internal departments, providing regular reports to the Department Head, and contributing to strategies that strengthen the company’s brand and business growth.

- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES l

Reporting and Accountability

Report directly to the Department Head and provide regular updates on activities,

student progress, enrolments, fee collections, and other assigned responsibilities.

l

Course and Programme Presentation

Present and explain the company’s courses, training programmes,

educational offerings, eligibility criteria, and relevant details to prospective students clearly and effectively.

l

Sales and Marketing

Promote and market the company’s services through various approved marketing tools,

platforms, campaigns, and outreach activities.

l

Fee Collection and Repayment Follow-up:

Coordinate the collection of course fees and follow up on student repayments in accordance with company policies and approved procedures.

l

Student Documentation and Records

Collect, verify, organise, and maintain student documents and records,

ensuring accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and timely updates.

l

Interdepartmental Coordination

Coordinate regularly with other Department Heads and relevant teams to ensure smooth operations, timely resolution of issues, and effective student support.

l

Regular Reporting

Submit accurate and timely reports to the Department Head on student enquiries, counselling,

admissions, marketing activities, fee collections, repayments, and other key updates.

l





Brand Image and Strategy

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, initiatives, and activities that enhance the brand image, visibility, and reputation of the company.

Business Growth and Organisational Goals:

Work towards the mission and vision of the group and actively contribute to expanding, strengthening, and enhancing existing business operations.

Student Support and Guidance

Maintain professional and ethical communication with prospective and enrolled students, provide appropriate guidance, and support a positive student experience throughout their learning journey.

Other Responsibilities

Undertake additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Department Head or management in line with organisational requirements.

- LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

English-Excellent verbal and written communication

Malayalam-Fluent verbal communication The candidate should be able to communicate effectively in English and Malayalam while interacting with students, parents, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in these languages is important for counselling, programme presentation, marketing, follow-ups, and student coordination.
