Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic qualified to lead the complete pharmaceutical manufacturing and production operations. The candidate will be responsible for overall plant management, production planning, manufacturing processes, quality coordination, regulatory compliance, procurement, inventory management and team leadership.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic manufacturing, strong technical knowledge and the ability to independently manage complete factory operations while ensuring product quality, productivity and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Plant & Production Management

- Lead and manage complete pharmaceutical manufacturing and plant operations.
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure timely execution of production plans.
- Develop production strategies, manufacturing schedules and operational targets.
- Manage end-to-end manufacturing operations from raw material to finished goods.
- Monitor production efficiency, yield, wastage and operational costs.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and resources.
- Handle multiple production lines and manufacturing processes.
- Identify operational challenges and implement continuous improvement strategies.

2. Pharmaceutical & Ayurvedic Manufacturing

- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic product manufacturing.
- Supervise manufacturing of tablets, capsules, syrups, suspensions, powders,



oils, creams, gels and other formulations, as applicable.
- Knowledge of raw materials, herbal extracts, formulations and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure batch-to-batch consistency and product quality.
- Coordinate with R&D; for new product development and formulation improvements.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to approved specifications.

3. Quality Assurance & Quality Control

- Coordinate with QA/QC departments to maintain product quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor implementation of quality management systems.
- Review batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packaging records (BPR).
- Ensure proper in-process checks, finished product testing and quality approvals.
- Handle deviations, CAPA, change control and quality-related investigations.
- Prepare the organization for internal and external audits and inspections.

4. Regulatory & Compliance Management

- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical and AYUSH regulations.
- Knowledge of Schedule M and Schedule T requirements, as applicable.
- Coordinate with regulatory affairs for manufacturing licences, product approvals and documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory and regulatory records.




- Handle regulatory inspections and audit observations in coordination with the responsible technical teams.

5. Purchase, Store & Supply Chain Management

- Supervise procurement planning for raw materials, chemicals, herbal ingredients and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Store departments for inventory availability.
- Monitor stock levels, material consumption and procurement requirements.
- Develop vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
- Ensure proper warehouse management and inventory control.
- Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely product availability and delivery.

6. Team Management & Leadership

- Lead Production, QA, QC, R&D;, Store and Purchase teams.
- Manage departmental heads, production managers, chemists and supervisors.
- Allocate responsibilities and establish departmental performance targets.
- Train, guide and motivate employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure effective interdepartmental coordination.
- Take strategic and operational decisions to improve plant performance.

7. Business Planning & Management Reporting

- Prepare monthly and annual production plans.
- Monitor production costs, manpower expenses and operational budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Prepare management reports on production, quality, inventory and operational performance.
- Coordinate with senior management for business expansion and new product launches.
- Ensure achievement of production and organizational objectives.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
